Course Overview
The Certificate Course in Echocardiography is a specialised training program designed for healthcare professionals who wish to gain practical and theoretical expertise in cardiac ultrasound imaging.
The course provides a strong foundation in cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology, with hands-on training in performing and interpreting echocardiograms. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate acknowledging competency in performing and interpreting basic echocardiographic studies, enhancing their clinical practice and career opportunities in cardiology and critical care. This UK Faculty-led training program will deliver up-to-date guidelines and pathways from the European Society of Cardiology. Completing the ECHO Certificate course positions participants for enhanced clinical and educational roles within cardiology and allied health professions – graduates will not only improve their current performance but also unlock diverse opportunities for growth and specialization in their careers.
Learning combines short, self-paced modules with supervised hands-on scanning sessions and case-based practice to build immediately applicable ECHO skills.
