Course Objective
With obesity on the rise, there has been an increase in the patients opting for Bariatric and metabolic surgery as a treatment option. These patients would need a lifelong support and guidance about their nutrition and lifestyle modification. As there is physiological and hormonal changes post-surgery hence the nutrition education is of paramount important. The Dietician has a very important role in the success of any bariatric program. This three months online certificate course provides a self-paced, learning in the field of Nutrition Care of Bariatrics.
