Who Can Enroll:
  • UG/PG/PhD students in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or related fields
  • Research scholars, clinicians, lab technicians, and professionals in molecular biology or diagnostics
  • MBBS/MD Healthcare Professional

Course Overview:
  • The Certificate Course in Genomics: From Extraction to Analysis is a 5-week hybrid program designed to bridge the gap between experimental molecular biology and computational bioinformatics. The program offers a blend of hands-on wet lab training and computational data analysis, enabling participants to gain practical experience in genomic workflows. Through structured modules and live expert-led sessions, learners will explore sequencing technologies, data interpretation, and bioinformatics applications relevant to both clinical and research settings.

Course Background:
  • The rapid advancements in genomic technologies have revolutionized biomedical research, diagnostics, and personalized medicine. However, there remains a significant gap between wet lab experimentation and computational data analysis skills among life science professionals. This course has been designed to bridge that gap by integrating both molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics analysis. Participants will gain the essential knowledge and practical exposure required to perform, analyze, and interpret genomic data — empowering them to contribute effectively in both clinical and research-based genomic studies.

Programme Objective –
  • To build foundational understanding of modern genomic technologies and analytical workflows.
  • To provide practical exposure to sequencing techniques and data interpretation.
  • To enhance computational skills in Python programming for bioinformatics applications.
  • To prepare participants for careers in molecular diagnostics, genomic research, and data-driven biomedical analysis.

Duration:
  • 5 Weeks
  • • Hands-on Wet Lab: 1 weeks (48 hours)
  • • Online Learning: 4 weeks (38 hours)

Course Fee:
  • • Without Hands-on Training: ₹12,000 + GST
  • • With Hands-on Training: ₹15,000 + GST
  • (Installment options available)

Credit and Evaluation System:
  • This is a non-credit professional certification course, designed for skill development.

Certification:
  • Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate by Max Institute of Medical Education and Nanofludiks Research Private Limited
