American Heart Association certified Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course

Duration: 16 hours

Mode: Classroom

Course Objective
  • ACLS is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
Course Offerings
  • Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia and Tachycardia.
  • Airway management
  • Related pharmacology
  • Management of ACS and stroke
  • Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team

  • For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies like emergency,intensive care, or critical care healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses,paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

Evaluations and Grading

To successfully complete this course and receive your BLS course completion card, students must do the following as per AHA norms:

  • Participation in the classroom course, including completion of all learning and skill stations
  • Pass the written exam with a minimum score of 84%
  • Pass the Megacode Skill test
Certification

Successful candidates will be provided E-card, by American heart Association
